This patch is a workaround for problems with DNS lookups for hosts in the rules_du_jour script to grab updated rules from Rules Emporium. I also tried to write the patch in such a way to make it easy to use a mirror site in lieu of the main site. I plan to make a few mirror sites available, but I have not set them up yet.
